Metro Pool League
HALL OF FAME
To be inducted into the Hall of Fame means that a player has contributed his time, effort, and skill for the betterment
not only to his team, but to the league as a whole. He may or may not be a skilled player, for sometimes an individual's
contributions to the league, in the form of team captain or executive member, cannot be measured by average alone.
Longevity, playing ability, and selfless contribution to the continued success of the league are only a few of the traits
characterized by the Hall's members.
In an effort spearheaded by former vice-president Don Gates, Sr., there were several HOF cabinets on display in league-based
clubs which held photos of MPL HOF members. Although wonderfully constructed, these cabinets were restricted to a certain number
of photos so the league has now moved the HOF to a virtual presence on its web site.
